Description I recently went on a road trip to the island of Skye, passing by Eilean Donan Castle on the way. I found it to be a very impressive construction located in a very picturesque (and strategic) spot on the meeting point of three lochs. It was restored in the 1930s and is still inhabited by the descendants of the MacRaes. 7 photo panoramic stitch.

My Boat's outboard broke down just outside that castle, so i ended up having to row the whole loch just to get home... xD

Well the next one's the 2nd part of the panoramas as there were too many for 1 feature, so I don't need to look out any more images for that one. I usually just collect them without paying much attention to who took them, so no doubt you're in the next one as well

thank you everyone it's an atmospheric place both outside and in, and one of the reasons it was a must see was that it was the only place in Scotland featured in my book of 'unforgettable places to see before you die'(!) Having visited it I can see why and loved it.

Old Eileen's something you see on a lot of postcards, but it seems to be a hard one to capture effectively. I think you've done it! Moody place, isn't it!
