She stayed under him until he was able to coax, and carry her back to her and Mubber's room. From that point on she'd demand him and only him until he ended up falling in love with her and taking her in as his daughter. Mubber he couldn't adopt as he needed much more special care their household could provide.... He loves his spunky daughter, she's so smart!
