EDIT: I made some major changes to this piece using photoshop, it made a really big difference, and looks great. I made it alot darker.9" x 12" watercolor edited with photoshop.

I haven't actually messed with watercolors in a while
actually, right now I'm dabbling with acrylics. But yesh,
this was done in watercolors.

Do you use thick acrylics (the kind that leave mass texture) or the thin?

Acrylics are great, but I rarely paint in them.
I use the thin textured acrylics.
