Epic, both the picture and the accompanying bit of writing - that's how you'd really imagine this sort of person going into such a battle.

One of the best depictions of Thor that I've seen. Especially his face. You do faces particularly well!

I like the whole drawing, but it was the expression on the face that kept me staring for a long while. It got me asking, why is he so sad? Then I read your story and it gave context to the art, Ragnarok... it must be a great burden to know your own destiny and to wield so much power and still be ruled by the Norns, just like any mortal. It takes a lot of corage to smile and do what you must knowing how it is going to end. I think you manage to capture that sense of nobility in your art! Thanks!

This one looks awesome. Reminds me of the style of the black&white Slaine comics.

Wow, thank you. All the Sláine comics have exceptional artwork.
But you can't refer to the early ones drawn by Mike McMahon, do you?

Thats the one. I picked up a volume called "Warriors Dawn" and I really liked it. The art style reminded of the Savage Conan series. Something from my dad's time but doesn't mean its not awesome

I recently came up one which includes a story of Conan going to a stronghold in the fringe of Turan, which is supposed to be a haven for marauders and thieves alike. The head of the stronghold has some insanely powerful gem, which is the main part of the story. Does this one sound familiar?

I remember hearing about some boxing stories. Wasn't the main character some sailor who had matches in different countries in each story or something like that? I also remember a story about a Texan who travels to Afghanistan in the late 19th century and becomes some warlord. Ever read any of those?

Yes. Steve Costigan the sailor and El Borak. Highly recommended!

Oh - seems I have been mistaken. The red-bearded thing seems to be a misinterpretation. Look here [link]

Good article, but it gives two sources for blond/gold hair and about ten for red.
I disagree about the youthful side of Thor, I think it is a deliberate disguise to fool his enemies, he is not a child in any of his better known myths. Especially the fishing for the serpent story which survives in so many versions it must have been very important to his worshipers.
