Richard is a quiet and calm man, with the patience of a saint. Dr. Fallhaven is nearly the most perfect health care provider anyone could ask for. While these certain traits are perfectly fine and even desirable in a person who directs whether you get life saving medication or just an antibiotic, they're not nearly as great when he's outside of the office. Being a large pushover, Richard is easily persuaded into doing things for others, even if the idea seems terribly bad he's still frightened to say "No".
When not focused, Richard tends to be incredibly clumsy, tripping over nearly everything from shoe laces to pebbles. Despite all of his little flaws, he's an earnestly kind man- and perhaps the most perfect doctor anyone could ask for.

Richard was raised by a medically centered family, with three siblings (who were usually sick all the time) and two very, very busy parents. His family relied on him to help keep everything in order, and in charge of three equally as clumsy siblings, Richard eventually took to learning about how to cure ailments and became very attached to the task. Eager to assist, the Celebi made sure he was the first to offer assistance for anything ranging from the common cold to a fractured leg.

With stars in his eyes, Richard made his ambitions into reality in no time, graduating at the top of his class and promptly landing him a highly regarded job in his home town's hospital..
