A flat colors commission for a sweet Merfur Regular on FA, Maku
These are the rulers of Atlantis. I got to design their accessories and throes.

I really like the idea of a mini coral garden atop the throne.
The ecosystem at the top of the throne could be magical and reflect the ruler. Like, different things appear / grow depending on the soul of the ruler. Or maybe it's a totally un-magical mini coral garden the ruler chooses? I like the magic idea better XD Like, if there's a corrupt or evil ruler, the garden on top reflects their true nature with sinister corals and toxic creatures. A real asshole could even try to destroy the garden to hide his cruelty, but despite his efforts, the magic of the throne would keep spawning these nasty ass creatures. A good peaceful ruler would spawn different life than a good military ruler, too. Just my musings!
