Finally!!! IT IS COMPLETE!! ^_^I drew this SO long ago, well, not really. I drew this back at the beginning of the summer >.< this is just how long it takes me to get unlazy and color things X3 I just couldn't decide whether I wanted to color it traditionally, or digitally. Obviously digital won. I took the opportunity to experiment with painter, but I mainly used it on the fins to get those nice brushstroke things. It took me many layers and I also tried to pull off that "wavy water" thing. Emphasis on tried X3
anyhoo, this is Vesna who came from a ~Mermafied personality exchange where everyone switched aroung and ~Chael designed a mer for my personality based off the Harlequin Sweetlips [link] fishy. This was the one he made: [link] and It took me untill now to finish drawing her myself.
So yeah this took more layers than I've ever used before and I really like how it turned out, so I hope you guys likes her!

She's definitely a stylish and beautiful mermaid. I'm glad you liked her enough to keep her around. Brown is so underrated yet can be so elegant, those fish look incredible with their earthy tones.

I quite agree with the brown. It's really very appropriate because I wear brown and other earthy stuff like... ALL the time XD so she fits rather nicely.
I just need to get un-lazy and start working on clothes

Nice work with the colors, the smugeiness on the fins is just right. Her hair reminds me of those wierd twisted breads that people get during one of the holidays. *can't remember which one*
