Awkward Nerd Girl, trying to be cute or something. This was most probably the first in the series of photos "Look sexy! Smile! Be Spontaneous!"

OK...so, like, it was the week before my birthday and I was shopping with Melissa in one of her rich-girl foo-foo shops that I never would go into otherwise but I was with Meli so I did go in and while we were there I saw these super-nice cute shoes that I really, really liked but they were too expensive for me to buy.

Meli saw how much I was in love with the cute shoes and offered to help me buy them because in four days it would be my birthday, anyway, so the shoes could be a birthday present for me or something and it wouldn't be charity or anything like that. But she said only if I would let her take a bunch of pictures of me wearing them.   I knew she was teasing and that Meli would buy them for me, anyway, even if I didn't agree to let her take the pictures, but I figured "why not? what could go wrong?". So, because I really wanted the cute shoes and letting her take pictures seemed like no big deal and so of course I agreed.

She didn't tell me 'til later that I would be wearing Only the cute shoes while she took the photos...!
