Not a secret at all! xD I just use Paint Tool SAI, and in that, just the regular brush ; v ; And the airbrush xD Oh, and I also have a tablet, Wacom Bamboo Fun, it helped a lot with getting a smoother art!

I use a Bamboo Pen and it's not precisely the greatest but it's useful I guess. Everything better than drawing with the mouse (?). Well thank you for answering me ^^ I'm trying to use SAI too but it's hard for me (lol)

I'm not sure how long have you been using it for, but I'm certain you will get used to it, if you keep using it 
Also, good luck with SAI, it's a very nice program, it's much more comfortable for digital painting than any other I have tried before. (Photoshop..xD) I had to start using SAI since I had no other option at the time, but once I got used to it, it all went very well and I couldn't draw with PS anymore ^^'

I can't really say that one is better than the other, but I do prefer SAI. Here are a few points to be considered:
1) First of all, as the name suggests, Photoshop was originally intended as a photo editing program, but of course it has all the tools that you'd need to draw and paint digitally.
Paint Tool SAI is specifically for digital painting and drawing, so it concentrates more on those features than PS does
2)Photoshop is a RAM killer .__. even if you have a very good computer, SAI is guaranteed to run more smoothly as it takes up much less space and memory than PS does.
I found SAI to be much more comfortable to use, but of course there are things that it can't do, for example, typing, lots of effects and sharpening, etc.
So I'd say they complete each other, I draw the pictures on SAI, and then go into PS for modifications such as resizing and sharpening, set the saturation, add some patterns or textures when needed.
I hope this could help a bit, if you haven't tried SAI yet or not into it much, I'd really recommend a little more practice with it

The drawing itself is really good. The combination of the colors is perfect and your sense to create her clothes was great (doesn't need any adds cause it's perfect like this)! The presentation it's also very good, but the impact would be bigger if you had explored her playful side more (as you said in the description). And even considering that you're selling it, you could named it (this would show clearly her personality).

As for the impact, I understand your point of view. I wanted to name my adopts too, but my friends who are more familiar with adoptable selling advised me against it, as it would restrict the new owner in a way.
This is also true for the previous thing you mentioned. I can't really create "empty" characters, so I gave her a slight personality, but it's usually the adopter that chooses the features and personality of the newly bought character, so I tried to hold back a little

Wow, let me start off by saying that she is one of the cutest adoptables ever!
You did very well on drawing her, her outfit presents good detail and it is coloured well to match her personality and the rest of her body. All of the colours compliment each other and blend well to not stick out from the rest of the picture, so her details are well noticed. Everything is proportionate, thus making her a very nicely drawn and acceptable design. You showed fine and precise detail on her outfit, as well as on the shading and lighting.
She is a very unique design and I think that you did extremely well ^_^

Let it be known that I love your work and this is my first critique, so I hope I do this right. xD Anyhoo, onward!
Vision: The theme for this is undoubtedly a cotton rabbit (with some pokemon flavor thrown in). When you look at her, what do you think? Cotton. Cotton in her hair, cotton in her ears, cotton on her dress, cotton falling off of her, and cotton on her shoes. I especially like the little cotton hair sticks in the back of her head. She only has ears that show she's a rabbit, but they are well designed and it makes it easy to tell that's what she is despite the fact her clothes cover her little tail. Her color palette screams cotton and the addition of the leaves in places further affirms this. The pokemon flavor fits too and just by looking at her you can tell she's a very happy and playful cotton rabbit. ^^ The vision for this is excellent.
Originality: This artwork is very original, simply because your style is very unique to you and no one can really replicate it. However, pokemon style adopts are not an unusual sight and for her to be based off a plant isn't unusual either. That also being said, I haven't seen a cotton themed adopt because cotton isn't a very exciting plant. It's just...cotton balls. xD So to take cotton and to turn it into something fun and interesting, that makes it quite original. ^^ The originality is good.
Technique: I can't draw and you can, so instant bonus points here! Haha. Anyway~ The lines, shape of her body, little details, the clothes, her expression, and her pose are all excellent. The amount of time and love that went into this is clearly a lot. Every detail was looked ever and nicely created and fashioned well. It looks to me like this is a separately done back and front and not mirrored due to the differences in the surroundings of the two. You also decided to throw in a lovely little chibi that reflects more of her personality and powers. The only reason I lowered this a half a point is simply because she's not an overly complex design. Don't get me wrong though, simplicity can carry far more beauty than even complex designs. ^^ The technique is very good.
Impact: The impact here isn't really high. The idea is conveyed properly and I feel feelings of softness and warmness when I look at this. It definitely evokes emotions, just not a lot. When I look at her I want to know where she's from and what her life is or has been like too. I really want to know more. It isn't mind blowing, but this little cutie will definitely have you thinking for awhile. ^^ The impact is good.

Hehe, I'm glad you liked what I said. I tried my best to put everything out there I could think of and be as specific as possible. To me, it's unique if you could take your art and place it with a ton of similar art and still pick yours out. Your art style and flair really pops out to me, so I'm certain I could point yours out instantly among the sea of artists. Believe in yourself more. ^^ As I said before, there is much beauty to be found in simplicity.
