Description
When I was little, and watched Prince Philip walk into the trap that lay for him in the cottage, I always wondered to myself, "What was Samson doing?"I mean, seriously? What was that horse doing all that time? Did he hear the crashes and screams from inside? Did he notice the goons jumping in the windows? And what about when Philip himself was dragged out of the house all tied up and gagged?
So, I finally decided to go ahead and create a little scenario that would answer this question. As you can see, Samson had heard the commotion from inside, but by the time he poked his head in the window to see, Philip is already strung up, and our favorite (one of our favorites) horse gets the wrong impression.

Yes. It was. But there's a whole variety of scenes I like from that movie. Let's see... I like the scene where the three fairies pay the baby princess a visit with the flashy display of special effects when they waved their magic wands. For a film that came out in the 50s, the special effects were simply amazing. And that was long before CGI took over. I also like the scenes in Maleficent's castle. The dark Gothic scenery really gave me chills when I was a kid. One part that made me laugh was when the animals steal Prince Phillip's cape, hat, and boots, and pretend to be him in Princess Allura's presence. And the part where the fairies fight over what color Allura's dress should be really turned me on. Best part was when they both fire simultaneously, and the dress turns out being a ti-dye between pink and blue after being struck by their magic. But I also like the final battle scene between Phillip and Maleficent as a dragon. The action in that scene really got the adrenaline flowing.

Yes, that film is the most stunningly, astonishingly beautiful animations of all times. I mean like you said, this was in the *50s*!!! And they were making movies like THAT?! Urgh... *faints*
Oooooh yes, I absolutely adored the scene where the fairies have their little color fight over Aurora's dress when I was little - still do, actually.
Yes, the dragon-fight was both scary and magnificent. Pure classic action; so simple and yet so wonderfully brilliant.

You know, that was something that I've always wondered myself. You later see Samson chained in the castle. I love Sleeping Beauty. One of my all time favorites!
Samson: "Wow! That beautiful girl Philip met in the forest sure looks... different at night."
Maleficent: "And then I heard this really great joke on my way here! It goes like this!"
Philip: "Somebody kill me!"
