Dart frogs are the most poisonous of all frogs, but also the most beautiful ones. By this bright coloring they warn predators not to touch them: the skin of these frogs exudes highly toxic poison, which can kill even man. There’s a good reason it is applied to darts and arrows. However, touching this little blue dart frog is completely safe. Sitting on a leaf, it won’t run away, and will delight the eye with it’s unusual coloration.
