Avril LavigneJust a quick drawing I did the other day. It took probably anywhere between 2 and 2.5 hours, so not a long drawing.
I used mostly HB for this, with the exception of her eyes. Standard 8.5x11 printer paper.
Not a big deal, just a way to occupy myself for a little while.

Out of so lil' time, you can come up with SUch detailed work.
The hair can do some work (time restricted, I understand) but the eyes are breath-taking.
Sharp as ever + skin texture is well smudged and well expressed. Really well done. ^^

Well, thank you. Haha. Yeah. Maybe Depp. I was actually considering doing a colo(u)r drawing of Hayley, because you know, her hair's so bright.
But yeah, I don't think proper drawings are going to be much better. Hate to get your hopes up. We'll see. I haven't drawn in so long.

That's kind of my dilemma as well. I have some fancy artisty colored pencils, but I'm afraid to use them. I had a little practice with them yesterday, so I might try it out. I'm still not sure.
