EDIT: Removed the border and edited the color balance because the original file was WAY too warm, so now I'm actually proud of this piece being on dA.Owl City whut.
I suppose this is part of my unofficial sketchdump, I might want to change my AP art concentration theme to quirky drawings like this, but yeah, this is basically a taste of what I've been doing recently.
Somewhat Alli Harvard-inspired... or at least it started off that way, then it turned into Copic marker rainbow vomit. Spent all week on it too, bleh.
MATERIALS USED: Copic markers, Micron/Copic multilinerm gold ink, RRRRRAINBOWS.

The colors remind me of playdough ice-cream. I like how the colors run and crash into each other, it's very frenetic. From her expression I gather she is filled with cold determination. Overall, a success in adding interest to the traditional portrait.
It wouldn't be a bad concentration piece to be honest. I had to change mine last minute to abstract, because I was way behind and needed something I could do quickly. I still passed so you should be just fine.

Oh, goodness, why does this not have more comments? It's so lovely! I totally love that you actually paid a bit of attention to the colour balance and the marks you made, it looks so much better than if you had just gone, "oh lol let's use the brightest colours we can"! Plus the shading on her face and such is utterly beautiful, so much so that I'm coming down with a case of art envy
