i think a good way to train is to practice landscape paintings? i've done a lot of those in traditional media in my art classes.

Hm, well yeah. I go to an art school actually but we don't do those much though. Well we do draw or paint ''still nature'' and all that but uh.... yeah.
Now in the 9th grade We will have our own big projects.
We will have to make it in any art style or technique and the work has to be practically usable or with some kind of purpose.
So...I'm kind of nervous about that ._. cause at the end of that year we will have to DEFEND our works as well.
(I can't really decide on what to make.....a painting(or multiple painting series.....or some kind of other thing like painting on silk scarfs- that's pretty fun btw....*sight* and I have to think up an idea this summer make sketches or something and then this whole next year I will have to work on it ) ^^'' well I hope I'll manage it somehow....

you go to an actual art school? that's cool. lol i just take art as an elective in school.(which is basically crafts and stuff) and a 1.5 hour class once a week.

Oh well I it is an art school and a sports school technically because we have lessons like well....Composition and umm Visual art? idk how it should be called in English ( well basically where we paint and draw) and a lots more other lessons or after school activities.
BUT our principle is really into sports so teams from our school participate in a LOTS of competitions ( we have like a shelf full of trophies xD ) But I'm more into art....sport isn't really my friend lol
