This might be the only picture where Twilight's tears are of joy and happiness(the little filly part of her that wanted to be a princess, that she buried years ago, has come back out(and is propably hoping around in her mind and saying yes over and over.)

I agree, the whole episode did feel a bit rushed, and could have used more depth/ story development..But admittedly, the Princes Twilight thing catches me a bit off-guard..

They only mistake was to do it 22 minute episode, they could sacrifice one of bad episodes to make it 44 minutes to make it more epic and less rushed, but as much as some people not like musical part of the episode, I must say it sure make it work perfectly for so short amount of time.

I LOVE Celestia's Ballad! Her soothing voice singing those touching lyrics created such a beautiful moment in that sweet, calming scene. I love the sense movement you created with the wispy clouds and magic trailing from Twilight's horn. Beautiful work!

Oh yes. Twilight's unbridled happiness here... I can't get enough of it. She's not the only one who has tears of joy.
I love the contrails her wings leave here and the glow left by her magical light. And I also really like the hair with how its individual strands and hairs are shown (even if her mane should be streaming more behind her) and the beautiful if blurry background so similar to the place Twilight got her wings in. I notice you made her cutie mark with six white starsβthat is indeed the mark shown on her banners, but I see only five on her flanks even after her transformation. Just something to note, very topical. Good shading here, well done!
