I've always admired the realism drawings in OekakiCentral's main hall, and always wanted to get good enough to do it myself one day. With all the lineless Oekaki I've been doing lately, I decided it was time to give realism a shot. Turned out great, in my opinion. I haven't finished the background... I'm not sure when, or if, I will, since I've already spent oodles of time on the fox itself.Done on SR Oekaki on PaintBBS, took about three and a half hours.

You could really see the time spent on this. All the more reason to fave! It's so realistic, if I were to see this at a distance I would think it was a photograph!
I really like realism drawings and pictures alike, since I am practically unable to draw anything without it looking a hint anime-ish. But that's what an anime-filled summer can do for you. (And I don't mind it too much, honestly. XD)
I love when people like their art (especially since everyone is self-conscious about how they express themselves with it), and I'm glad you managed to have the determination to finish it! Even if the background isn't there, that isn't the subject of the artwork anyway!
I don't care about when this was made or how you may get so many random compliments you can't reply to them all. I care about how you took time to do what you do. And that, in it of itself, is amazing.

I adore these little guys, and this is an absolutely beautiful representation... and with Oekaki, no less!! I am extremely impressed with how this came out for you.
