History:
Pec’s life had been quite simple, his parents were part of the herd, and his grand parents had been part of the herd. His dam had once told him his great-grand-father was an escapee from the human jail, but he never really trusted that, even if several horses from the herd were in the case, with their odd scar on the shoulder, it was a foreign knowledge and he didn’t plan on knowing more about it. He was taught to fear human, to avoid them at any cost, and he planned to do so, so knowing more on how they ‘cared’ for their slaves didn’t matter to him. The Bluebloods on the other hand, interested him, but curiosity never being a good thing; he kept his questions in his mind, and would avoid wandering in places where they were known to dwell at. Never really playful when he was young, he hardly made any friend and would stay by his mother’s side, and listen to the mare’s chitchat, he always learnt things there, even if they tried to avoid harsh subjects when he was around. He kept the habit, always trying to catch bit of conversation to know what was going on around the other horses, which sometimes gave him some trouble with certain horses who didn’t want their secret shared. Mare’s tend to like him, but more as a brother than something else, and he doesn’t mind, getting a mate is certainly not his top priority. Even if he never was the most courageous horse around, he still felt the need to protect the herd and its members, helping the older horses, the pregnant mares, watching after the foals. On the calm days he would often try to ask a guard to take him along in his/her watch, but he usually had more negative answers than positive ones. He still wanted to be a guard one day, maybe once he’ll have gathered up more courage, and maybe then be worth having a mate.
