Description A view of Segovia through one of the multitude of arches of the Roman aquaduct.

located two hours outside of Madrid its home to the the finest Roman aqueduct I have ever seen, it is so amazing that its not surprising that its registered under the the UNESCO world heritage site!

amazingly the entire structure is completely held up by its own design, there is not an atom of cement or mortar between those blocks!

"The Aqueduct of Segovia (or more precisely, the aqueduct bridge) is a Roman aqueduct and one of the most significant and best-preserved ancient monuments left on the Iberian Peninsula. It is located in Spain and is the foremost symbol of Segovia, as evidenced by its presence on the city's coat of arms."
