Excuse me random person X3. I know this may seem out if ordinary. But I would like for you to answer this one question I have for you.

You find this picture cute. You are a hetalia fan ( epic ) I love hetalia as well. I am not familiar with yaoi. I know what it is. But I would like to know.

Why do you take interest in two males, that are brothers, have a romantic relationship?

hi annie, since you ask so nicely, I want to give my opinion as well XD

you probably know I'm a fujoshi (aka. yaoi/shonen ai fan that happen to be a girl, for a guy we call it fudanshi)

already

yaoi normally focus on a more physical aspect of relationship (that doesn't mean it had no emotion in it)

while shonen ai (literally translate as Boy love) focus more on the emotional aspect of relationship

as for your question

some people love the "forbidden" aspect it give off and how intense it tend to be

while other don't really bother by it and just goes all "let them love each other" (I'm on the the second type, it don't really bother me)

while the word "brother" in hetalia wise, people tend to used it very loosely or used it to suit their purpose, since the answers change depend on the person you ask, some might said this is incest and they're brother, some might said they not brother anymore etc.

btw I love both side of their relationship, be it brotherly/family one or romantic one

Well thank you. I see now. There are so many specific things with this. It's rather confusing. But I think I understand the main parts of it. Thank you. I still just like the idea of them being blood brothers and that they "hate" each other.

1: Some people are fine with it. Some people aren't bothered by relationship's like this. They're like "let people love one another".

2: Smart Hetalian's (no offense) Know better then to take the term brother seriously. Come on, how are you going to find a blood related family member in the middle of a field. Plus, England even told him NOT to call him big brother.

3: They were like brother's for a long time, but now they are close friends, to say it lightly. They were like that since probably about 100 years after the American Revolution.

4: This isn't yaoi, it's shounen-ai. There is a HUGE difference. Yaoi is the pervy stuff like them doing the naughty naughty, shounen-ai is the cute, little stuff like this.

Just to let you know, I am not biased. I like usuk, fruk, asakiku, ameripan, ItalyXEngland, AmeriCan, and many others. Hope this helps you survive the fandom

Just one little thing. I'd like to share my opinion on the title "brother" that you state in number two ^-^

I do see why you think that. Yes England found him in a field. But knowing history. America ( which started out as colonies ) was made up of english persons. Also some Germans, Dutch, maybe some French ( since France had other territory in the America's. why settle in the same place as your enemy? ), and a few other cultures. 

In the anime Finland clearly states that people have been seeing a little boy in/near the villages ( America. ) which means england, France, and the others have already settled in the America's. thus America was born. Being a brother to them by blood

That's just my opinion to number two. But thank you  a whole lot for your opinions and facts X3

That is a very interesting theory XD Never seen someone with that theory before

And yea, Finland did say that, but wouldn't America be related to Native America and whatever country that came to America  first?

And historically, that would either be Spain (they went to the south east coast before England or 
France got there) or a Scandinavian country even.

Yes I see what you mean by him being Native American. But those people were there first. The lands of the Americas belonged to the natives. Then england and France and Spain and all the other brothers came over and settled. The thirteen colonies were born. So was America. 

Basically America as a baby and kid  is the thirteen colonies.

Oh,it's because I like this and in hetalia yes they are brothers but I think...They are not brothers after the War of Independence (?) because America don't want anymore...Finally,I have to say that,I love yaoi and I'm a big big fan of Hetalia so the two for me is the paradis!But it's my opinion...(sorry if my English is bad I'm a french personne)
