I have to say, I never know when to let go. I chased after a guy for my entire 6th grade year, got my heart broken (with him unawares, I might add), and still couldn't let go. I'm in 8th grade now, and it haunted me for all of my 7th grade year, and still haunts me when I know I could've stopped any time that year and have saved myself a broken heart. I practically live in the past when I'm alone and have nothing to do, my mind keeps wandering back to that year: What I could've done, what I could not have done, to save myself on that day from breaking. I can barely look at him now without remembering, and have to shove those memories from my mind every time, but I can't help but wonder, if he felt the same or if he remembered.
I still don't know when to let go.
