hmm.. dunno if it was your intention, but in my oppinion the contrast is too stark, its like the leaf has been cut out from a photo and then put on the background here..

reminds me about this poem i read once, had to do something with this girl who would die when the last leaf fell off this vine cuse of deppression or something so this old dude painted a picture up on this wall and he died cuse of pnemonia or something but the girl lives and it's just a really cool poem, nice job, i like.

I love how the light kind of illuminates through the leaf
and highlights the branch (and it's neat how you extended the branch past the border/frame)
and the focus on the leaf, and the blur of the background...
I get this almost.. lonely... feeling.. looking at it..

That's beautiful. I love how the yellow contrasts so well with the background. It really is beautiful. There's this cheesy little film called "The Last Leave" that's kinda touching too.. reminds me of it.
