He's my favorite character in TWO BROADWAY MUSICALS! 
Bloody awesome, non?Anyway, this is him as the M.C. (Emcee, Master of the Ceremonies) from Cabaret. He's in the movie too! He won the best supporting actor Oscar in 1972 for being him...Anyone know him? I know my French teacher does, that's all though. It's so sad! (Well, my mom does too...)
But...Uhm...This is the picture from the cover of "Broadway's Lost Treasures!" Chita Rivera, Carol Channing and Julie Andrews are in it! (Joel Grey too) SO IT'S THE BEST!!!...Besides my Bebe Broadway DVD's. Mmhmm, that's right

He's 71 in that picture, and he doesn't look that much different than he was when he was 40! ...He was a lot cuter when he was 40...I LOVE HIM! - I really, really can't tell which Emcee (Alan Cumming or Joel Grey) I love more. It's too hard! If I finally chose one I feel so bad for the other, so I go right back to not knowing...*sigh*.

The Master of Ceremony is my favourite character in the movie too ! Joel Grey is simply... perfect ! ^^
At the moment, the musical is played in Paris : it's now or never I can see it !! Yes, maybe it's in French, but it's always the "Cabaret" ! And the singers look great !! Here a little video in youtube, where the musical is presented on a tv show : [link]
You say Alan Cumming played "Emcee" : I am curious to see that. He is such a great actor too !

You know, I met Joel Grey. Wonderful actor, yes, but he seemed kinda standoffish. Probably because he's had so many fans for so many years, he just kinda got sick of it. Anyway, I saw him on Broadway this last year in Wicked where he played the Wizard. He was so darned cute with his short gray hair. And I'm afraid I have a huge thing for Alan Cumming, so he's my favorite Emcee...sorreh. But I still like this.

I know him! I had to watch Cabaret for English in year twelve. I thought he was great in it. He's such a great and scary character. Excellent work, I love the colours.
