Lovecraft time! This one is from "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath", in which a mysterious priest robed in yellow silk lives in an ancient monastery on the plateau of Leng.Drawing pen & ink on paper (50cm x 70cm).

Wonderful job. It is exactly how Lovecraft described that setting, I think. I always wondered what just what in the hell were they going to do with Randolph Carter, throw him in a la "This is Sparta," or what?

Great picture.
You know most people dont like The Dream Quest in unknown Kadath because the think it is a kids story unlike Lovecraft's other works. But I think it is the most creepy and pesimistic of his works. We are taken through this wonderfull dream world full of palaces and talking cat but are often given glimpses of the horrible truth that lurks behind the facade that the old ones created for their amusement.
