Horatio the half-celestial rust monster. now normally rust monsters can't be half-celestial, but Horatio is an exception. You see, there was a ranger who raised a rust monster from an egg. This abberation was no smarter than any of its wild kin, but was faithful to the ranger like a trusted dog. As the pair travelled, the ranger slew and captured many agents of evil, his rust monster helping him by unmaking their fell weapons and consuming them. In the rust monster's lifetime, she (the rust monster was female) destroyed a phenominal number of evil magical weapons, some as powerful as artifacts. Of course the gods take notice when such an effort is made to undo evil from the world, and when the rust monster did eventually mate she bore only a single egg of brilliant gold colours. From this egg hatched Horatio, a rust monster blessed by the goodly powers of the multiverse.
