Description Another old sketch I'm not too embarrassed to share.

Peace.

I honestly don't understand this guys origin is it differently shown. One story says he's the possible son of Thanatos another the son of the Haman father of aquaman the first. But Great pic.

Thank you, friend! Yeah, I admit his origin is lost on me. Woulda been sad if he ended up just being some sorta clone. He seemed and looked cool.

Peace.

Ah, I love old sketches. I have MANY that are not fit for public consumption, kind of painful to look through.

I like this design, aquaman as swashbuckler is a good approach. I actually liked the awful '90's one-armed look personally. As a mer-dude I always thought he was a bit overdressed. Full sleeves with gloves and pants? I'm not saying go all Namor in a speedo, but loosen up a bit Arty!

haha Yeah, I'm totally filtering out all my disasters w/ the ancient drawings. I came across one of my Supermans who looks like he has an extra finger.

I like this guy's "Sword of Atlantis" design also. Too bad he was shunted off to obscurity! Turns out he was just a clone or somesuch. Oh, and I totes agree. I think shirtlessness is the way to go. You'd think all the scale mail weighs dude down when he swims. I am now envisioning an illustration where Aquaman is stuck on the ocean floor due to costume heaviness and a gang of dolphins are pointing and laughing at him.

Peace.
