Description
The National Flag of the Principality of Beremagne
Adopted: Uncertain/ Proabably 19 February 2018
Meaning of Flag Explained:
The flag of the Principauté de Bérémagne was inspired by the flag of Canada. But instead of the Canadian maple leaf, it contains the small coat of arms of Bérémagne in the center of the flag.
The small coat of arms of Bérémagne depicts a crowned shield with a bear and three fleur-de-lis. The fleur-de-lis represent the french culture and both stand for Québec and the old Kingdom of France. The Bear is the namesake of Bérémagne, which literally means ‘‘great bear‘‘. The shield is surrounded by two maple twigs with leaves, caterpillars and moths. This represents the environment of Bérémagne. Below the shield, there are three orders of Bérémagne, (from left to right) the ‘‘Ordre du Mérite Ecologique‘‘, the ‘‘Ordre de la Maison Princière de Bérémagne‘‘ and the ‘‘Ordre de l‘Aigle‘‘.
