I won't mention the colours, because it's clear what you've done. But what also stands out is the expression. Not only are they (the others in the background) grey, but so are their expressions, whereas his colouring and his expressions are different to theirs. He appears to have found the 'colours' of life, and is thus quite chuffed with himself, as he damn well should be, which is in contrast to their dull acceptance of their chromatic lifestyle.

great picture. very interesting choise of colours to colourise the picture with there.. it looks very 70's . i remember i did some photos like this back in highschool art with a chinapen (if thats what theyre called)
