Many years from now... the people of Earth have moved on from the power of steam and fossil fuels.

Only Steam Engines manage to stay safe with either being powered by an improved solar system or the remaining coal. No new engines have been made and new steam engines are being built with futuristic modifications with controllable couplings and much powerful brakes.

Sudrian Engines aren't a mere memory for children to listen to anymore. They thrive with their own ways, becoming more independant from humans and getting their own rights.

Some engines have past on, but live on with others.

And others have gone into retirement, sleeping in the city skylights.

But still, others work 'till their dying breath and will never stop until they do.

The world has changed around them, it is a far cry from the first of them to appear out of their workshops, but they adapt.

They always have to, from dirty, black smoke, to gleaming blue lights.

A/N: This is inspired by a music piece I very much enjoy listening to! I wasn't do much and decided to see my unfinished projects and this one caught my attention which was halfway complete, so I thought: WHY NOT?!
