Been there... Had to fix a laptop for a nearby school... After installing an anti-virus programm with great effort, it found 22.000+viruses, worms, Trojans, Spyware and all the other crap... After 5 houres of hammering on the 'delete' button and a lot of curses later, I was done. I'm wandering though, what do you have to do for so much viruses? And where was another anti-virus programm called Norton looking??? It missed all off those viruses???

Can't say I've seen one that big so far. But if I did, I'd just say reformat it and cut your losses.
Obviously that school wasn't well equipped enough with a firewall that blocks porn sites.

X'D
I have SO done that. And ALMOST done that..... on many occasions.
I literally had the same amount of viruses.
After I waited 4 years, I found out it was a trojan horse inside a trojan horse inside a 3rd trojan horse. And I had to unplug it from the internet to keep it from getting worse. 4 years later, I managed to finally figure out what was wrong, and all my backdoor methods of getting them ripped out never worked. I ended up finally opening up the code, and ripping it, LITERALLY, out of it. Now it's a 10 yr old Dell desktop, and runs fantastically for my music that i make.

Yes! I definitely would, if it were someone else's computer...
But if it were mine, I'd probably throw it out of the window instead. Less mess to clean up!

If you continue to have problems with viruses, I recommend Malwarebytes Anti-malware. It's free(unless you buy pro), and as a computer technician, I install it on every computer I touch. I have NEVER had repeated attacks from malware with this installed. If you need help purging viruses at a later date, and you feel you need help, you can call me atΒ (317) 296-4267. That's my Google Voice number, because I can't afford a real phone -.-Β
