I hate thunderstorms too. It was raining once in school, and there was a sudden BOOM and aflash of lightning. I screamed and killed everyone's eardrums.

I have an extreme fear of them, and have had since I was 8.
'Coz when I was 8, I was just walking home late one Winter, it was pitch black, raining, and thundering, but I didn't mind. Then a flash of purple sheet lightning struck INCHES away from my face and scared the crap outta me. 'o_o
