Little late for Mother's Day, but I really wanted to design my mom as a Pokémon Trainer! The hardest part was figuring out what outfit to give her as I wanted to give her an outfit she'd love but also reflects her athletic, youthful personality and her love of gardening and dancing. In the end, I ended up with this simple design of her wearing overalls and wearing a cute lilac shirt. I DEFINITELY had to give her the lilac ankle bracelet I gave her one year as she does honestly love it and wishes she had more outfits to wear with it. A final must for my mom was her heart-shaped locket containing the ashes of her parents. She refuses to remove that necklace and I would be a terrible daughter if I didn't include her necklace. As you can probably guess, I don't really take that much after my mom. I much closer resemble my dad and especially my grandma (I honestly mistook an old photograph of my grandma when she was younger as myself and tried to figure for a minute when such a photo of "me" was taken). However, I did inherit some traits from my mom if you look closely enough. I've got a hint of green in my eyes that I got from my mom and I have her freckles, too!

For my mom's partner Pokémon, I had to give her a Lillipup! It so much resembles the family dog Jerzie whom my mom absolutely adores and acts as her emotional support animal. Kinda ironic, though, since Jerzie was actually supposed to help me with my anxiety... I think Lillipup would be a perfect Pokémon for my mom and the two of them would make a great pair! If I had to suggest another Pokémon to be my mom's partner Pokémon, I think I'd choose Kirlia or Lilligant. But, for now, I'll go with Lillipup for my mom.
