My visit there was too short! My neice and nephew didn't mind the two hour drive to get there, but wanted to leave 15 minutes after we got to the beach. I tortured them by making them stay 2 hours

We have a beach 45 minutes away from where I live. It's on Lake Winnipeg, and it's a really beautiful white sand beach. We went there ALOT when I was growing up, and I took my kids often when they were growing up. But it's nothing like the ocean. Wow, that was amazing.

Awwww....I know how that is. I was surrounded by people who hate travelling too. It's sad cos it's always way more fun when you have someone to go with. I just learned eventually to go by myself

Yeah! He made corn oil and grease from restaraunts into fuel for this thing. And every time we turn it on, it doesn't smell like 'stinky diesel' (as my dad used to call it, lol) it smells like french fries and chicken!

Oh, he was. Everyone on the block would come to him if they needed something fixed. He could fix ANYTHING I could think of. And he was incredibly talented at making stuff. Since he hated summer and was sensitive to heat, he made this white suit with a can attached to the side of it in a pouch. You would put dry ice in the can, and the fan on the bottom of the can would blow all the coldness into the suit. It would get all puffed up from the fan.
When he wore it, we called him 'Marshmallow Man'.
