Just another drawing I did in my sketchbook and worked on in Photoshop. I had some fun with this, although drawing the perfect shapes and lines for the back of her hair was frustrating. This was also my first time drawing a person with animal ears, so that was new. Originally her hair was orange/red, but I later changed it to green and I think it looks so much better!Tools: Wacom Bamboo Tablet and Photoshop CS3

I like the gradient you used for her hair; this would make a good poster or cover image. The only criticism I can over is that her face is somewhat too wide, and this causes an imbalance in the positioning of the eyes, nose, and mouth. These things could easily be corrected if you wish, but its not necessary. Overall its a good job.

Thanks I appreciate the comment. I've been staring at this thing for so long, it's hard for me to catch little imperfections. I didn't notice a problem with it till you said something. Glad you pointed that out.

Yeah, usually thats how it is with our own art; we don't necessarily see things very easily that other people can more readily point out. I think with art, the longer we stare at it, the more we are adjusted to accepting it as is.

Excellent drawing!!! I like the style of coloring you used, gives me the feeling of "halloween is coming soon" xD I really like the gradients and the background fits so well! keep up that good work
