Batik+sharpie+some blue glitter.it was too big, and so I scanned it in bits and pieced it together, you can see some of the lines. oh well.

I love it! this might be my favorite thing you've done yet, I love the pomegranate one too. Your art seems different somehow these days, I don't know what it is, but you've seemed to reach a new level in your art. I'm pretty sure I don't have enough money to buy it, but if I had money to spend, I certainly would. Is there any way you could make a seamless image of it..... (without the line)? By the way, have you heard of a band called Kan'Nal? If you haven't, you should definitely look them up. I see them at the Oregon Country Fair every year. any way, kudos on the new level you seem to have reached, especially with this one.

I loooove the texture of the fabric this is on, and the one dark stain around the critter's eye--it looks bruised or something, very vulnerable. I've really enjoyed what you've been turning out lately.

and man, if you've never done batik before, you should try it. I bet you'd love it. so much fun. except usually batik doesn't have sharpie added over it once finished, that's just somethng I decided to do...(you can do whatever you want with it! that's why it's amazing!)
