Continuing my Fire Emblem fan art challenge using the themes fromsupernovaninja.deviantart.com/…
I actually did this a while back but finally decided to post it now while doing my regular file backups.
This is for theme number #3: "Do I Know You?" featuring Franz and Amelia from Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones.
I absolutely LOVED Franz as my most relied-on cavalier (possibly my favorite in all the Fire Emblem games I played) and Amelia was my amazing defense after promotion. Their recruitment conversation inspired this picture's idea where the two meet for the first time.

I fell for these two with their recruitment conversation (through Ephraim's route), and I really love their developing relationship, especially the pact of becoming sword and shield to each other in the end. Well done

I meant to reply after reading through all the fic chapters and never got back, but thank you for sharing it! I haven't finished it yet but it is a good read so far. It actually made me feel nostalgic and restart the game for a few minutes before bedtime. (Awful yet good decision if you need to be up the next morning.) Makes me appreciate their support all the more!

Glad you're enjoying it. Yeah, even knowing the outcome, this story makes good use of their support conversations all over, and not just with each other but with the other characters. That definitely gives them plenty of character development. And believe me, you're gonna cry tears of joy for more than one reason when you reach the ending

I did everything on Photoshop CS5 (rough sketches, semi line, and color) and as for how long, that's a tough question opps. I worked on it on and off for about a month I'd say? Might have been longer XD

XDD Really funny! You saw one of my drawings, right? There's this one that involves with Link and Dark Link as an angel and demon. Took me about twenty days to complete and I displayed it in my high school's art show. I gotta few compliments, and I was happy in the end.

Personally, I feel traditional watercolor should take longer so I'd probably take about twenty days too! I'm sure those days were sometimes frustrating but you end up feeling accomplished by the end of it, especially with compliments like you got as a sweet bonus hehe.
