I'm calling it azure because it's fancy and I like it, bite me.Not my best work, but I'm happy enough with it to post it
Holy fuck, Vriska, jeeze girl it's been a ride hasn't it?
Honest to god I despised Vriska until recently, genuinely did not understand how people could like her. Then I realised Tavros is boring and started actually looking her as a character beyond just the bitch who picked on my (then) favourite troll.
Oh don't get me wrong, I still think she's still a despicable bitch who ruins everything for everyone at all times. I realise there's more to her than just pure bitchery.
I can honestly say I'd love to ramble for hours about what I think of Vriska, but I don't have the way with words I'd like and you'd never read it all anyway.
So in brief: Vriska is horrible on a number of levels, and some of them are beyond her control. She's stupid, scared and kind of pathetic at times. Her admitting some of that to John in the dream bubbles is probably why I warmed to her.
Seriously those two are adorable together.
Mindfang however, is a boss.
She's a heartless bitch but she's SUAVE and badass too.
also last of the trollgrubs in these uploads, I'm redoing them at a less stupidly small size.

No really, I've always liked Vriska. She was one of the first MSPA characters I saw, via a forum avatar. I don't know why, but I just attached to her instantly. She was a pretty good example of what trolls strive to be in their society. Then later on when she talks to John she expresses how it's pressured her into being something she's not all that comfortable with. Over all she's gone through a decent amount of growth as a character and I'm sad to see her gone.

Like I said, I didn't really warm to Vriska at all until she started derping around the dream bubbles with beta John. She kinda grew on me when I was re-reading Homestuck, but even then it was basically "wow Vriska you sure are doing a fuck-ton of stupid shit that'll fuck everything up". eventually I got to the stage of woobifying her, because holy fuck does that kid have a lot of shit to deal with.
I guess in the end I'm kinda split, she's a despicable creature who takes nothing into consideration before doing things that fuck shit up for everybody, but she's also a kid who's kinda scared doesn't really know how to anything BUT fuck things up despite herself.
You're definitely right too, she did grow. Part of me wishes she'd have actually had the chance to fight Noir, even if it would have meant everyone else dying.
also thanks a lot :>, and nothing too different really, in one panel Scratch holds grub Handmaid in two hands, I want to get it closer to that than the hamster size thing I've been doing. plus I'd get to add some level of detail

I didn't realize the significance of her screwing things up until waaayy late in the story. That moment is when she forced John asleep so he couldn't prototype Jade's sprite, which forced Bec to, creating Bec Noir. At that point I was like "8ITCH WAT ARE YOU DOIN" And even at that point, what was she thinking, even knowing she'd end up leading Bec Noir back to the meteor. Maybe she thought she'd defeat him before he could.
It never stopped being a game to her, and she always wants to win. Due to her own mindframe of trying to strive at having 8LL THE LUCK and winning constantly. It has to do with her having her ancestor to look up to in the long run.
Pff actually I didn't think grubs were cute until that one frame. I know they appeared before in that one flashwhre Karkat recalls doing ectobiology, but that one frame of babby Handmaid makes me go "abububububub".

But when she talked to John, I loved her.
