Another little Felt animation I did a few weeks back, forgot to post it for some reason.Obviously a little reference to the sadly short-lived Intermission prequel, which I'm still kinda sad ended before assigning Matchsticks' and Quarters' any time powers.
Godspeed Matchsticks, may you ride poor Sawbuck through time for the rest of your temporally confused existence(s).

What actually happened at the end anyway?
I kinda abandoned lurking the threadf when the adventure was done.

Well, it had something to do with people taking most of the content canon, but with a reason that Andrew was kinda monitoring it. So it was taken as evidence that Slick is from the kids session, Snowman is not exactly the Black Queen, and there is a Mayonaka and Agent Brinner. The problem was that although Professor insisted that it indeed had some canonity because he discussed things with Andrew, it turns out that Andrew was pretty apathetic about the direction of Felt but did keep in mind some of his ideas. Later on in a podcast Proffesor said what would have happened if it was continued, and it involved a heavy role of Mayonaka, who isn't a real MSPA charcter being some super distructive force that Slick had to contain...within Snowman.
Quite frankly, I think Andrew should have supported and informed Proffesor more, I mean he gave Andrew the Midnight Crew for godsakes.

to be fair Andrew IS kinda busy with Homestuck and things, and it IS kinda presumptuous to just up and insert completely random characters into a story and still call it any degree of canon.
to be honest that was probably my least favourite part of the story.
still though, would have been great to have seen it finish, like I said it had potential.
plus it was more Felt action, and I loves me some Felt. which kinda makes it ending lamer because the likely hood of more green torsos in Homestuck is pretty damn low.

Yeah Andrew probably didn't want to get stuck with too many things before he could find a proper place for them. I didn't like the inclusion of Mayonaka pretty much either but Andrew pretty much let most things slide, perhaps to placate Professor? In the end I hope he uses some of his ideas like Fin being emo and humpherey, but then it might revive the drama shitstorm.
I also hope Snowy was green at some point and underwent some drastic changes in character along the way.
But yeah I think the point really was more Felt action and their personalities. I never fully got into the fandom until the intermission, damn these guys deserve their own adventure and mythos( as opposed to being tacked onto Homestuck)

to be honest, dispite having read all of homestuck before the intermission and all the epic shit afterwards, the intermission was still probably my favorite part of the story, posibly of MSPA in general.
I'm still holding out for there being another Midnight Crew inturlude after act4 is over, not even a big one like the intermission, like that Flashe in the start of act 3(?).
I kinda feel bad for the fact that my favorite part is essentailly filler though.

I can honestly say the intermission would have been better without the ties to homestuck and all the mind breaking troll bussiness.
But I guess it'll probably be important later on, which is cool in a way.

Yeah, I remember saying some stuff like that to some people and I was a little mad so I kinda bashed the current HS ties and then everyone jumped on me for dare criticizing his Holy Majesty Andrew Hussie. So much for the fandom's "tolerance".

To be fair usualy Andrew has a way of making things like this work out pretty well in the end.

Well I heard somewhere, from TheGhosty actually, from speaking to Andrew at a con that the Felt are expected to return sometime.
But what I fear is that next time they won't be as awesome; I mean the more we began to know about Snowman the more plain and boring she began to be, I mean instead of something unexpectedly cool, she's just an exiled Black Queen, not the Song of Life, the Essence of Skaia, the Universe, a Goddess of the Furthest Ring, The Ultimate Riddle, A Legendary Pokemon,or Jade's Penpal.
I hope Lord English won't turn out to be like that, and the Felt with have a very important role in whatever Adventure they will appear in, including Homestuck which is likely.

Lo long as "The Felt" isnt just a easier way of saying Snowman and a hint of Lord English.
ok, I'm lying that would still be kinda awesome.
but no so much as some kind of background on them, like if they were exiles from some kind of green kingdom, or how Snowman "obtained time powers" after being exiled.
But if all we get is a follow on from the intermission that's cool too, so long as we get a reveal of Lord English.
