Thanks for the feature, much appreciated, the stories are hard to come by, as a lot of them are drive-bys i just happen to run across. Just back from vacation and have a buch more to post, but again, i will not know the story behind most...

You need to link this up with the 'Escaped' series - though i reckon getting your kit off out by this shack might not be quite as easy
I am totally with your comments above - really freaky and makes Blair Witch look like a walk in the park. Your images like this always make me think not just that something terrible happened but all about what it was.
Love to see a series on pictures like this, insides and close up - but that may be greed, just wanting more, your trick is to leave the questions unanswered

It's so easy to regard our surroundings as commonplace or ordinary... I've been watching you experiment with your body, color, light and composition, and every now and then I see you pop up these images with neglected objects... old derelict buses, the car, and now this shack. Far from creepy, it is probably oozing with energy and vibe from days gone by.
I have a humble wish for you... Look at these objects and locations through the eyes of someone whose surroundings are completely different (I bet you there is someone in downtown Tokyo sipping coffee early in the am, looking at this shot and saying "who knew...!")
When you do, perhaps you will feel inclined to further incorporate them into your own self portrait explorations! When I quickly glanced at this image, I couldn't help but to ask myself: "but, wait! Where is Mikey? Why isn't he just leaning against the front door, torso revealed?"
Hugs and gratitude from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico!

Haaa , many Thanks for your kind comments. I do actually plan some day to do a shot at a place like this, I have many thoughts to do so. Most of these place I have captured are on private property, this one is on a farm and it sits about 300 yards for an inhabited house. Some time this summer I will find one I can do a shot at, and hopefully some old cars or equipment to.
Stay tuned lol

It looks kind of sad, too -- like its family just moved away and forgot about it.
