Firstly--Thank you so much for making this piece. I've been following events in the Congo for a while--And I couldn't agree with you more. There needs to be far greater coverage on this issue in the Media. Especially because this isn't just some internal conflict in some poor African country, but because these are people being maimed, raped, and murdered for the sake of Industrial convenience: For cell phones, laptops, and the like. For OUR convenience.
Secondly, this is simply a beautiful piece! I can't believe it's received only 280 views to date. It's sad that a mediocre piece themed on some mainstream topic receives more attention than an extraordinary piece with a meaning.

Heart-wrenching, poignant and unsettling. Your mastery of life drawing comes full circle in this piece as does your intuitive understanding of composition.
