well its like that, if you wanna do a comic you need TIME-FOOD-ROOM and thats cost man, so most of comic artist in poland are making freelance work to earn some money , i wanna to do a comic but i must find some free time , its my dream to earn money as a comic artis man (and do comic like CORTO MALTESE) and im working on that dream ! thats 4 sure ! ;]

You might want to do freelance comic works yourself or do tryout pages from U.S. publishers, that should get your name and talent out there, I mean I ain't famous or anything yet but it sure works and pays my bills.

I did an OEL manga[link] from Seven Seas Entertainment which is based in L.A. and in the midst of completing another book, also finished two western comic (chapters) months ago, both of which were from U.S. independent publishers.

OR you can go directly to here---> [link] so you can find jobs that best suits you. It may not be lucrative, but it does pay and sure beats doing comics just for fun, yeah? Word of advice though, don't bother with the "backend deals" some writers offer, it's a waste of time and more often than not, you'll never hear from them again once the job is done.
