Tama glanced over the field he needed to cross to arrive at his house. “Should I go for it?” he asked himself. He started to run, but in the middle of the run someone jumped on him. “Hi, Tama” it was a (fav./c) tom with (e/c) eyes. The colour of the fur was rather unusual for a cat. But that wasn’t everything about the tom that made Tama want to run away from it. The cat was just plain weird.

My head begins to jingle, most ev'ry time I nod,

'cause obviously, quite obviously, I'm odd!

Each Christmas I go fishing, to catch a Christmas cod,

'cause obviously, quite obviously, I'm odd!

Maybe it was the fact that the head of the cat jingle, even if there weren’t any bells near him. Another example is that every Christmas the cat would go fishing, believing he would catch a Christmas cod. “(m/n), please get off of me” Tama mumbled. (m/n) looked at his cat-friend and slowly got off of him. “Sorry Tama” (m/n) meowed happily. Another strange thing, the cat could grin.

When I was just a kitten, they said I'd be a gem,

but now that I'm a Cheshire Cat, it's odd how odd I am.

I own a feather pillow, but I slumber on the sod,

'cause obviously, quite obviously, I'm odd!

“You’re strange” Tama meowed, the (fav./c) tom was following him home. “Of course I am, isn’t that obvious?” (m/n) asked, happily skipping over to the Japanese tom’s house. “Oh, Tama brought (m/n) along again” Tama’s human said. Tama walked over to his pillow and motioned (m/n) to follow him. Instead the (fav./c) tom just lied down outside.

When I was just a kitten, they said I'd be a gem!

But now that I'm a Cheshire Cat, it's odd how odd I am...

Pochi looked at the strange cat. (m/n) opened his eyes and looked at pochi. Before the dog could do anything the tom had jumped onto his head. “Alright Pochi, let’s go” Pochi moved around, trying to get the cat off of him, but (m/n) wouldn’t budge and seemed to enjoyed the ride.

Most cats have handsome whiskers, but me, I've got a beard,

'Cause obviously...quite obviously!...I'm weird!

“I’ve met quite strange cats… but this one is the weirdest…” Tama meowed looking at Pochi and (m/n) running around.
