I'm having an issue with my physics on my model. I'm unsure of what it's called so find a tutorial is hard for me. Basically, My model has pigtails with physics. When I move her head, her hair is still stiff but when I display the physics, They're THERE but not affecting the hair, it's self.

Does the hair stay in the same place when you move the model? or does the hair move along with the model but it acts like it doesn't have physics?

hey can you tell me which format s better to work with? pmx or pmd?

MikuEvalon In reply to ARIE2NITE [2018-04-01 03:43:42 +0000 UTC]
Well it all depends on the person, I suggest pmx, its more advanced, it allows more high poly models,
most models/parts are pmx now and turning them into pmd damages them most of the time, etc.
but pmd is good if the person has a slow or old computer and it's much simpler.

If you use the size change tool, it'll rescale the facials as well. From PMXE tabbed view (not 3d view), size change tool is edit->plug-in->system->size change tool.
If you just want the head changed, this is going to require separating the head to a different file, and then reimporting back into your original file. (And probably repositioning.)

I'll check your gallery from time to time and I will put it here if I see any pmd or pmx tutorials with your permission of course.

One: with the widget. If the widget doesn't appear, or is in the wrong spot, toggle it off and on (hotkey H). Click and drag on the arrows, not the rings, to move in an axis.
Alternate: numeric entry in tabbed view.
Alternate: select a vertex where you want the bone and alt-e-o-c (edit->object->copy position) to copy the position of that vertex, then deselect all, select bone, and alt-e-o-w (edit->object->paste position) to paste the bone to that position. Works good when pasting to the average position of multiple selections as well, great for sending a bone to the middle of an arm, for example.
If that's what you're asking.
