Backstory:
Patricia was born during ww2 in New York.
She never saw her father because he was a solider back then and was killed in germany.
She even had to help her mother in labor when she was about 5.

When the war was over and everything went back to normal Patricia went to school like a normal Teenager.

One day she met a strange man who seemed to avoid every kind of sunlight, someone who had extremly pale skin which was almost grey, but in a very strange way she found him attractive.
They startend to go out and one day this man revealed his secret: he was a Vampire.

Patricia was scared first, but accepted it later.
However, he promised her that he would give his own life for Patricia to change her into a vampire if something Bad would happen to her one day.

And when Patricia was about 22 he had to do it after she was badly injured due to being shot by unkown people during a robbery in her own house.

Her lover died after the process, but she was reborn.
