Overall a nice shot with some minor issues. Great detail and positioning in this shot. The fur and eyes of the fox are so sharp that you could almost count the individual hairs on the animal. You did a great job with positioning. Thought the foxes head is mostly in the center of the frame the body is positioned on the right which seems to offset the shot enough to strengthen the face. You left enough room on the left, in front of the subject, so that it wasn't crowded against the frame but not too much that you had a void space. There are a couple minor issues that could easily be fixed in Photoshop or other editing program. Firstly, the color. In the shot everything seems to have almost a Sepia tone to it. The fox's fur seems a little on the tan side as opposed to the white that an arctic fox would be known for. This is an easy fix in an editer, with a color and contrast correction you just need to be careful not to lose the detail that makes the shot so good. The other issue is that there are two distracting elements on the left side of the frame. the first is the pine branch. It serves no purpose and detracts from the subject. The other is running along the bottom of the left hand side, and would appear to be a wire or fence post of some kind. Both can be eliminated with some minor cropping and I personally feel that they could be removed without crowding the subject.Overall, a fantastic capture with one or two easily fixable issues.
