Just as it was about to deliver another blow, a loud gunshot was heard and it screeched in agony. The nightmare

Sonic saw the figure of a young man holding a shotgun approaching into the dim streetlight. He instinctively growled
a warning to the man, not wanting him to come any closer in his injured state."
