Description
This was a project which took me quite a while to finish. I tried some new techniques and came to the conclusion that they're too time-consuming for me to use in every picture. Yet I like the way this turned out- I tried to keep it the animals as realistic as possible (except for the fact that the bird looks like a phoenix XD).artwork (c) me, ~millenium-night

I couldn't resist drawing my favourite animal
It just bothers me that it is almost invisible against the brown bark, but painting it black would have made it even worse.

I like the way the bird looks almost luminescent in the way it stands out from the background. All of the lighting looks really good.
