Since the moment I first read this scene I've always imagined Erik having climbed on the statue right above their heads (i.e. sitting on top of it). However, this does not seem to be very realistic when it comes to actual architectural concepts XD So what you see is the result, but that first idea still makes for a nice image in my head

Thats actually what I thought kind of. I imagined him higher then them but not like looking down on them. I imagened Erik high up but looking to the side or down and seeing them. So sorry if I just confused you.

Phantom Rage!!! Gerry's acting was spot on in this scene, I just felt so bad for Erik... One would think that I wouldn't like the movie since I am loyal to the book and stage musical, but I just can't help loving it...

No Phantom movie would be complete without some Phantom rage X3 I agree on his acting being good. The movie with its costumes, cinematic close-ups and perfect concert sound is eye candy regarding all its aspects. Yet I think the singing is not exactly magnificient in it, and the Phantom just shouldn't be so attractive XD But I watch it nonetheless.
Still working on it...
