I started this drawing previous Sunday and I wish I didn't have to finish it this soon.My dear guinea pig, Gizmo, was ill since December. He wasn't able to chew anymore, so we fed him with baby-food, mixed with mashed guinea pig food. The last few days he ate less and less, so mum decided to go to the vet today to put him down to sleep. Before the vet could do anything though, he already passed away.
For a guinea pig, Gizmo meant a lot to me. I decided to take him in 4 years ago so I had a small pet which could comfort me. He did that a lot and I didn't expect to say goodbye so early.
The flowers in this drawing all have a meaning. They stand for joy, good memories, caring, friendship and love of course.
I'll miss you Gizmo, you'll always be my most special guinea pig.

As someone who adores guinea pigs and has lost some really special guinea pigs as well, I understand and I'm really sorry for your loss.
Gizmo looks like he was such a super cutie, and I have know doubt he was a joy to have. And I bet he had the best life ever when he was alive~

Ja, ik kan nooit meer zonder cavia's! Ik vond het zo leuk als ze samen in de kooi speelden! Nu zit Noeshke alleen. Ben benieuwd hoe hem dat af zal gaan.
