I bet there are some tastey morrell mushrooms popping up around there in the springtime. I also say there is a strong possibility that ginsang is growing among them.

i dont think so.. it is too dry here.. and the temperature changes are too extreme. we dont have a mild spring.. it is sub-zero one week.. and two weeks later the temps jump up to too-hot-to-wear-a-jacket-temps.. morels dont like that as far as i know. but i am not an expert and i would never trust myself to collect mushrooms.

I see...
Mushrooms have distinct shapes and colours. It is easy to idenify them if you know wht to look for. You are wise to not go after them without an experienced hunter.

I have been in session and in the garden a lot. The landscaping is a continuous process. We have had visitors down from Maryland. So the studio has been busy with nightly jamming. I am usually on my PC at night, so the jams have precluded my internet sessions.
