Usually the wings are rather shiny, if they are healthy, yet since he got his ability, his wings weren't able to produce the liquid that usually flows inside their circle (it is seen if they are healthy at the white markings, that usually are "shining").

But even so, he still enjoys the perks the wings and race give him, by being able to move faster and jump higher, if he wanted to. (Hence only 46kg got recorded, he is believed to be 68kg)

Furthermore he usually is in a place he cutely called "Memento Sui".
It practically is just an empty space, that he created between his world and time. Where he can watch others, succeding or failing, without interfering with his own magic.
(Hence why there isn't much known about him)
